Are there options to try out the gym without signing up for a class?Yes. We have a few options. We have Open Gyms available for High Schoolers and Adults anytime that we are open. You will have open access to the gym to work on whatever you would like. We do ask that you are respectful of any classes or practices that may be going on and give them priority to the gym areas they need to be in. We also offer Family Ninja times where you can experience the gym with the whole family. It is run like an Open Gym, so you will have the freedom to try things on your own, but coaches are available for any questions or tips and tricks. Just for kids, we offer a Parent's Night Out once a month on a Friday Night. Parent's may drop-off their child(ren) will us for 3 hours and enjoy a child-free date night or anything else you might want to do with your time. We will keep them busy playing in the gym and even feed them pizza. We also offer half-day or full-day camps for children whenever school is not in session: Summer, Spring Break, Winter Break, Teacher Work Days and some Holidays.
-
Am I too old to participate? No. Age is not an issue. We offer classes starting as young as 1 and going through to adults and seniors. If you have a desire to move and learn then we will teach you. The classes for younger kids are more structured and focus on a specific set of skills depending on the class level. The adults classes work a little differently and teach all skills in one class. Classes are based on the individual's skill levels and students may be working on different skills in the same class. Beginners will be given easier, more entry-level skills while more advanced students will be given more advanced challenges. We will move at your pace, so you won't be forced to do anything you are not ready for.

What do we learn in a Parkour Class?Parkour is based on agility and movement through your environment. Think of it as training your flight response. Students will learn a variety of ways to conquer obstacles that they may encounter in the real world, such as; walls, gaps, rails, drops, etc. We focus on the efficient movements from one point to another. Students will learn how to see the world around them in a different way, by training skills such as; quadrupedal movements, vaulting, balance, precisions, cat leaps, wall runs, underbars, lachés and more.

What do we learn in a Ninja Class? In a ninja class, students will learn techniques to conquer a variety of different challenges, ranging from agility and balance obstacles to upper-body and grip obstacles. Throughout the class, students will develop strength, endurance, coordination, body-control and spatial awareness. Classes will focus on specific skills as well as running courses which include a series of obstacles one right after the other to improve their speed, techniques, movements and transitions.

When should I take a skills class?Skills classes are designed to focus on specific skills. These classes are great for helping to transition from one level to the next. For example, if a student wants to transition from Level 1 classes to Level 2 classes but still need to work on a specific skill then they can take a Skill Class to focus on that specific skill. Once they have shown proficiency with that skill and all other skills that are prerequisites for Leveling Up, then they can begin taking higher level classes.
